Knit Fabrics

The term 'knit' has to do with the fact that these fabrics are made of a single looped yarn, which is knitted together, rather than a woven fabric, which is made from a criss-cross of warp and weft yarns. What this means for the seamstress (and the wearer), is that these fabrics have a much greater degree of flexibility and drape, making them perfect for t-shirts, infinity scarves, and more fitted garments.
